Quick Update Before I Leave Today
It was a fun and relaxing weekend. Friday we had company as planned and it was more fun that I had hoped. We spent an hr at the pool then came back home to grill out chicken breast, corn on cob and made fresh salad. V is soo preggo nowadays, her due date is Oct 4th (I think). She is holding up very well and her hubby K joined us as well. They brought another friend, A, with them and we had a ball. Since it was a long day for all of us, our night concluded early (10pm) and we chilled out for the rest of it.Saturday, we got up our usual tie to get hubby off to work and I got ready to head to gym and work out for a couple hours. Ended up on treadmill (cardio) for 1 whole hour, which is a 1st for me and then I proceeded to do about 150 ab crunches on machine with 20 lbs weight and then worked my upper body strength training. I talked w/ a couple trainers and they are keepign me motivated and positive as well....Just an FYI.. I lost 6 pounds since last Saturday and I am going strong. Going to obtain my goals in no time and headingf toward a healthier, happier Jenny!!!
Saturday night we had tickets for Def Leppard/Journey at the Verizon so we got there just when the skies decided to open up for about an hr. We toughed it out and stayed until the end of show, luckily rain stopped 1/2 way thru Journey and we enjoyed the whole show. We arrived home abotu 12:30 am and fell asleep before 1am.
Sunday, slept in til 10am and lounged around watching TV for a good 2 1/2 hours. I then decided to get my ass moving & go to gym, which I did cardio for 45 mins and 100 crunches on machine. After that I returned home, showered and snuggled up next to hubby the rest of afternoon. We decided to have a light/late lunch about 5 pm and so we didn't eat dinner til 9pm. I ate only a turkey & cheese 1/2 sub for late lunch, salad and w/w toast for dinner. I snacked on Sun Chips and just didn't over-indulge at all (Another 1st, hence the weekend). I am so proud of myself and getting the motivation to do something about my body and weight. I will NEVER be this size again, unless I am preggo!
Anyways will catch ya up more tomorrow..now I am off to grab a quick bite to eat for "snack" and then to gym for 1 hr cardio class and thent o work on leg/lower body tonight on machines~~~
