I am SOO Happy....

Well since Thursday, so much has happened and I did not get to the HNT pic as promised. But definetly this week, fo'sho!!!

Weekend Update:

Friday: Decided to grab a bite to eat at the Skylark diner, ate a great meal, & continued our evening at Zuma Fun Center. We played 2 long games of put-put, tried Dance Explosion and talked a lot & enjoyed the evening thoroughly. We laughed and joked all night and came home around 11:30pm.

Saturday: Ben went to work, as usual & I joined Bally's Total Fitness Gym!!! I was stoked beyond belief upon seeing the place & how much they offer that I signed up for full usage of my local Bally's. I set-up my First Workout Session w/ Personal Trainer for 1pm that afternoon. Upon arrival, I got on treadmill for 15 mins (to warm-up) then we started to create my strength/weight training routine. We went thru most of the different machines and talked about my weight loss & toning/firming goals. He said I did very well & I know I can make this a lifelong lifestyle. After that, we rested for couple minutes and then jumped into my "dynamic workout" which consisted of varied ab crunches, leg lifts, squats w/exercise ball and bicep/tricep movements w/ tension ropes. It was tough after 3 sets of each & I busted my ass thru it and learned that most of these exercises I can do at home, as long as I get an exercise ball, mat & resistance ropes. I truly felt like I can do a daily routine of varied exercises to improve my health, body and weight. He spent a good 1-1/2 hrs with me showing me exercises/weight training, explaining my metabolism/weight loss, heart rate, goals and etc...
Saturday night I was soo excited, feeling energized and very motivated. I started making goals of how much I want to loose and where I WANT & NEED to be within 6 months. I know I can stick with it and maintain my new lifestyle on a daily basis. We were invited to my g/f Sara & Marc's apt to hang out w/ some friends. I ended up drinking a lot of wine and got a little tipsy..LOL We listened to music, played "I Never" and I got "some lovin" from a fine female also named "Jen". She was a pretty girl with a sweet face and is currently living in Columbia, SC. She instantly hung all over me, we giggled/chit-chat and once our beverages kicked in full force, we excused ourselves from the living room. We hooked up a bit in the other room but once again, my "special friend" showed up that morning--so no real "action". It was insane though, I never felt such instant passion, kissing was intense..but anyways...enough with the details... We drove home about 1am.

Sunday: We decided Saturday night we would rent a deck boat with some friends all day; so we got up early, ate some breakfast and headed down to Lake Wylie Marina. It was the BOMB...I mean the boat had a partial cover, was big enough for 8 adults and a couple kids!!! We set out about 11:15 am and found a private "island"/cove to swim, lay out, listen to music, drink a little, make lunch and have a great time. We did some tubing, cruising on the Lake and enjoyed ourselves thoroughly. The homes on Lake Wylie are multi-million $$ ones and each was bigger and more beautiful...I was in awe with each one we sailed by. It was the best time we had in forever!!! We got sun, pics and made some good memories! We will defintely get this boat of my whole family comes down in August as planned. You get the boat for 8 hrs...which means a funn day of fun!!! Got in about 8pm and I threw a chicken, veggie, biscuit meal together in 35 mins, and ate it up! We got into bed and fell asleep before 10pm!!!

So that was our fun-filled weekend...not exactly what I was expecting, but I was NOT complaining. It was a blast and I would do it again this weekend, if it presents itself. I may call "Jen" sometime this week and see if she would like to come up and stay with us...

Today has flown by and I am excited more than anything about heading to the gym when Ben comes home. He will be going with me a couple times during the week, to get some muscle/mass on his upper body. I plan to go about 4-5 times/days a week to really see my results I want, then I can ease slowly into 2-3 times once I get to my goal body weight & appearance. I look forward to getting into gym and starting my routine on my own. This weekend I plan to buy a exercise ball, resistance ropes and mat for my home exercises.

Saturday is my sister's 26th birthday...WOW!! Gosh I can't belive she is all grown up, has a beautiful daughter and graduated from college. She is doing great for herself and living her life on HER terms. I am anxious to see everyone when they come down for a long weekend in August....fun times ahead to plan for.
In two weeks, my office is having a Summer Yacht Party on Lake Norman, both of us in attendence!! He took off work as soon as they let us know the date--I am tickled he will be with me and we can enjoy the party together. This is the first event in yrs, he's been able to take off and have a Saturday free to enjoy with me!!! He will be taking off as well when we go to Tennessee for our Anniv/Birthday getaway.

Well my day is about over and I am going to head home and get into my Gym mode...BYE
